As the miles rack up on your 2G DSM, the front k-member bushings begin to wear out, causing excessive play and motion of the front k-member and ultimately the steering rack. Since the OEM rubber bushings are the medium of which all the accellerative and decelerative forces of the front wheels pass through, play in this area will cause excessive wheel-hop as well as sub-par handling and steering. VMC k-member bushings equal a stiffer chassis plus improved steering and handling!
These will fit all 1995-99 4G63-powered Eclipse/Talon cars.
Each set includes 12 pieces. 6 bushings and 6 matched washers.
“We did test chassis torsional stiffness. Results were notable improvement of 16% which is marked since we are talking about a car with an existing roll cage.” -Andrew Brilliant

These really locked everything down! I had them installed along with a decent strut tower brace and some fender braces. Really took the handling up a couple notches! I can’t think of any single mod I did to my GSX that improved the handling more than these C&C machined aluminum k-member bushings.
