These are designed to fit M/T or A/T 91-94 1G AWD DSM and 91-92 Galant VR4 cars only. It can be made to fit a ’90 model DSM though (requires drilling a new hole in the front roll stop bracket). Details HERE.
(Note: For Galant VR4 cars, opt #1 and #2 fit without modification, but opt #3 requires a ‘344’ front roll stop bracket.)
Option Choice Assistance:
If your car is used strictly for drag racing and you’re looking for maximum weight savings, I’d recommend Option #1. If you road race, autocross, or spend a lot of time street driving, I’d recommend Option #3. For everyone else (drag, weekend warrior, etc), I’d recommend Option #2.
Option #1: The crossmember bar by itself. This is a great option for a budget, straight-line car. Optimal weight savings of ~18-19 lbs.
Option #2: The crossmember bar with k-member plates and hardware. This is by far the most popular package. Great balance between rigididy and weight savings. Great option for any street or drag car. Saves ~16 lbs.
Option #3: The crossmember bar, both parallel bars, and the k-member plates with hardware. This is the full kit, intended for cars that turn aggressively. Saves ~10 lbs.
